ISLINGTON HERITAGE

For this renovation, our clients engaged us to introduce colour and character into a beautifully proportioned home that had previously been finished in a bland, monochromatic builder’s specification. Careful consideration was given to furniture layouts to enhance both flow and functionality throughout the space.

Handmade turquoise zellige tiles, a blue freestanding bath, and a striking red window wall are just a few examples of how CMI thoughtfully wove colour into the residence. Antique mirrors were incorporated across multiple rooms to enhance light and create a sense of movement.

Where possible, we prioritised sustainability by reusing the client’s existing furniture and refinishing the original kitchen cabinetry. These elements were seamlessly combined with new and bespoke pieces, resulting in a balanced interior that feels both authentic and distinctive.
