HISTORICAL SUSSEX RESIDENCE

Having worked with Caitlin on their first home, our clients reengaged CMI when they relocated to this historical property with parts dating back to the 1500s. The challenge was to make the home feel fresh and fun, like the young family, while still respecting and celebrating the rich history of such a unique English property.

Walls throughout the residence originally held a yellow tone. Immediately these were painted a crisp white to create a bright contrast against the dark wood beams allowing more playful colours to shine. Furniture layouts were thoughtfully detailed to function seamlessly in awkward spaces.
