CORNWALL RETREAT

This contemporary, newly built home was tailor made for a family to use as a holiday retreat as well as rent when they are not occupying the property. We worked closely together to select items that not only looked beautiful, but also adhered to a set budget and strict durability requirements. A combination of bespoke, off the shelf, vintage and antique items balance the modern architecture to create a fresh, layered aesthetic.  The colour palette was inspired by the local landscape – including some photographs my client took herself of the cliffs and sea surrounding the property.  Each bedroom feels completely unique as we implemented distinct colour schemes – such as “sunrise” in the bedroom with soft yellow Roman blinds and twilight in the pale blue bedroom with deep navy curtains.
