CORNWALL RETREAT

This contemporary new-build was thoughtfully designed as both a family holiday retreat and a rental property when not in use, offering a versatile home along the Cornish coast. Flexibility was central to the brief, as the interiors needed to comfortably accommodate both small groups and larger gatherings.

Furniture layouts were carefully planned to provide inviting spaces for larger groups to come together, while maintaining a sense of intimacy and comfort when the house is occupied by fewer guests. Each of the six bedrooms has been individually designed, with distinct colour palettes inspired by the surrounding landscape.

Selections were made with careful consideration, balancing aesthetic appeal with a defined budget and rigorous durability requirements. A curated mix of bespoke, off-the-shelf, vintage, and antique pieces complements the modern architecture, creating a fresh yet layered interior.
